Key member of Business Contingency & Risk Management team, Responsibilities include:
Plan the overall Business continuity operations for the company.
Review, Maintain and socialize Policy and procedure documents
Perform a company-wide Business Impact Assessment (BIA) to identify the time critical activities and prioritize planning accordingly
Facilitate/assist in the creation, development /review of Business continuity plans.
Create scenarios to simulate various types of business disruptions and conduct component /simulation test
Documenting results of all tests and exercises, and identifying any recommended actions to the Business Continuity Plans and Procedures/operations
Assume ownership and support overall business recovery process during any Crisis/contingency
Develop and conduct Business Continuity awareness training program for stakeholders.
Coordinate project management efforts of various PMO resources to meet deadlines and accomplish goals
Liaise with Crisis Management team and business units to support recovery during crisis/disaster
Work with the tools development team for new enhancements and trouble shoot any issues reported.
Prepare reports summarizing operational metrics, accomplishments of specified objectives of business units to senior management
Liaise with vendors as required for services/tools provided by them for business recovery
Plan/strategize organization wide communication to ensure continuity during disaster situation
Liaise with stakeholders to support /assist day to operations and ensure continuity during Crisis/disaster
Any Degree, Certifications desirable related to Business Contingency & Risk Management
5-7 years’ experience in supporting Business Contingency & Risk Management
Knowledge on Business contingency and Risk Management / best practices
Good oral and written communication
